Location

When you come to Lake Bohinj, turn right and drive across the well-known bridge past the church of St John, and to the village of Stara Fužina. Our house is located on the left side of the road at the beginning of the village. A store, a post office, a tourist office, a pizzeria, a boathouse, an electric boat, a bathing area by the lake, the “Planšar” inn, the museum of alpine diary farming and sport agencies are located nearby (about 5 min away by foot). A prepared cross-country ski trail across the Fužinarsko polje field passes our yard. The lower part of the Mostnica river - trophy grounds - is a true paradise for sport fishermen. Take a walk across the street, cross the bridge and already you are by the Mostnica river. Take a step further and you are in the Sava Bohinjka river. You will be amazed by the magnificent view of Lake Bohinj and the surrounding mountains, including Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia. Every moment of the day is a unique show and an unforgettable experience. Do not forget your hiking shoes and your camera. There are only 6 km to Aquapark Bohinj and ski center Vogel and Kobla.
